Getting Microphone Permission

Video consultations can suffer from technical interference, e.g. due to a busy network or problems with latency (when a person’s lips move but the sound comes just a bit later).

Having a good connection and equipment helps, but otherwise there may not be much you can do to change this.

The primary view on the call screen is your participant caller camera view and the smaller screen appearing somewhere on your call screen is your face.

What is a dependent code?
The Principal member is usually coded as dependent 00 on the medical aid profile.
The spouse/partner to the principal member is then coded as 01.
Each registered dependent is then coded on the medical aid profile as 02, 03, etc. depending on the number of registered dependents.PopularCan my Healthcare Provider send me a Medical Certificate?
Yes, your Healthcare Provider will be able to writel you a sick note if clinically appropriate to do so.

Some Healthcare Providers require you to pay cash for the consultation.

Appointments can only be cancelled up to 2 hours before the appointment.

You do not need to look directly into the camera on your computer, tablet, or phone.
Looking at the screen is sufficient for the other person to know that you are engaged in the consultation.
Because webcams provide only a limited view, your Healthcare Provider may not be able to see much beyond your face.

uConsult is built to optimise the video experience. Using your camera and the live video does consume more power from your device battery. It is advisable that you keep your device connected to a power supply during the duration of the consultation.

Yes, you can add as many dependents you are willing to pay for as beneficiaries.

u-Consult makes use of highly secure access and data security features.
Users accessing u-Consult will create an account using a registered username and password as part of the two-factor authentication.
All data is encrypted for all information in transit and during storage. Instances whereby data is viewed it is done so using a web client. Yes, they can use either of the two options, or
You can choose to only accept cash (by way of credit card) payments from the patients.

Accept All Medical Schemes Rates Higher than Cash Rate
