# What type of application is uConsult?

uConsult is a progressive web application that is accessible through the major web browsers.

You can use a phone, tablet or desktop computer, laptop to connect.

Compatible browser are Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and Safari 11+ (latest release versions). Microsoft Edge is currently not available for this service.

It is important to ensure you get the latest browser using the updates available. You can check your browser version here.

Don't just assume you are on the latest because you have auto updates on.
