# My reminders are not working

# Reminder not working
This may happen if the universal.one app doesn’t have permission to send push notifications(See below to enable push notifications.), or if the reminder is not set up correctly. Please open your reminder and verify that the date, time, and frequency are configured as intended.

### How to turn on push notifications for the universal.one app

### **iOS (iPhone)**
1. Open the **Settings** app on your iPhone.
2. Scroll down and select **universal.one** from the list of apps.
3. Tap **Notifications**.
4. Toggle **Allow Notifications** to **ON**.
5. Choose your preferred notification style (Lock Screen, Notification Centre, Banners).
6. Ensure **Sounds** and **Badges** are enabled if you want them.

### **Android**
*(Steps may vary slightly depending on the device brand and Android version.)*
1. Open the **Settings** app on your device.
2. Tap **Apps** or **Apps & Notifications**.
3. Find and select **universal.one** from the app list.
4. Tap **Notifications**.
5. Toggle **Allow Notifications** to **ON**.
6. Enable specific notification channels if listed (e.g., Reminders, Messages).
