Can my patients use their Medical Scheme or credit cards to pay for services?

Yes, they can use either of the two options, or

You can choose to only accept cash (by way of credit card) payments from the patients.

Cash Only Practice

Only accepts credit card transactions. Patients on Medical Schemes should claim it back from the Medical Scheme.

Accept All Medical Schemes Rates Higher than Cash Rate

The practice will bill the Medical Scheme for the service.

Should a Medical Scheme pay less than the Cash rate, the patient should pay the whole amount and claim it back from their Medical Scheme.

Accept All Medical Scheme Rates

The practice will bill the Medical Scheme for the service.

Should the patient not belong to a Medical Scheme, the patient will pay the cash tariff using a credit card.
