What is a dependent code?

The Principal member is usually coded as dependent 00 on the medical aid profile.

The spouse/partner to the principal member is then coded as 01.

Each registered dependent is then coded on the medical aid profile as 02, 03, etc. depending on the number of registered dependents.

How do I install a new browser?

Internet browser for Microsoft Windows

A few of your options are Mozilla Firefox, Opera and Google Chrome. To use a different Internet browser, you need to install it and set the new browser as your default browser.

Open your current Internet browser and type the web address for the website of the new Internet browser you would like to install. For example, if you wanted to download Mozilla Firefox, you would type "www.mozilla.com" and press "Enter."

Locate the download link on the new browser's website. Most websites offering a different Internet browser for download display a prominent "Download" link on the homepage of the website.

Download the installation file for the new Internet browser you would like to install. Save the file to your hard drive. Close your Internet browser after the download is complete.

Locate the downloaded installation file on your hard drive. In Microsoft Windows, files are saved to the "Download" folder by default. Double-click the installation file.

Allow the installation file to install the new Internet browser on your computer. Click "Finish" when the installation is complete.

Open the start menu and click "All Programs" to open the menu of programs installed on your computer. Newly installed software is usually highlighted in the Windows start menu. Select your new Internet browser to start the program.

Yes, your Healthcare Provider will be able to writel you a sick note if clinically appropriate to do so.

An email will be sent to you once your sick note is ready with a link to take you into the section of uConsult where it is.

How to use Medibucks?

If you are a u360 user; A mediBucks account will be automatically allocated to your profile on u360 To access dial Dial:120540# You will receive an SMS with a One-Time Pin. Dial:120540#, and use the One-Time Pin to select your own 4-digit pin to activate your account and Your mediBucks mobile banking. Make your first EFT deposit (minimum R200) into your account (Your first deposit must be made within 30 days of account activation).

The current EFT structure is subject to "inter bank settlement" with the following rules:

EFT must be made before 4:45pm on weekdays and before 10:15am on weekends to be processed overnight for settlement the next day (takes up to 12 hours).
EFT after the times is only processed the day after (takes up to 24 hours)
RTC (real time clearance) transactions will be processed by AFT on the same day, but still not real-time.

Please try the email OTP option - please go back to the login page and ensure you have it turned on before logging in.
Please also make sure your inbox is not full and that you also check your spam/junk folder.
Your number might be on a 'Do Not Contact' list. To check, please submit your number via the link below. https://dnc.org.za/

You will then receive an SMS, if it says your number is on the list then please follow the instructions to remove your number from the list.

It will then take 24 hours before you can receive your OTPs again.

If your number is not on the list then, please select yes in the next menu to speak to an agent.
